PANDORA IS THE CODE NAME OF THE MULTI STANDARD VISIONEE'S CENTRAL OFFICE (C.O.) SYSTEM.
It's based on an ATCA (Advanced Telecommunication Computing Architecture) intelligent card cage that uses a sophisticated very high speed backplane to support up to 12 GEPON, GPON or Ethernet P2P line cards and two redundant supervision cards.
The ATCA standard has a built in shelf controller that monitors the card cage activities, such as the power status, card insertion and management, system temperature.
